Fake left - under control - just where the rulers want it

Indymedia top dog a pal of spooked-up journalist Andrew Gilligan. What do you think two plus two equals? But don't focus just on the individual.

Whilst doubtless widely known in certain in-crowd ghettos for some time, it's come to my attention that one of the top dogs at Indymedia is a long-time chum of the spooked-up journalist Andrew Gilligan.

He even appears to be so confident of his own position - i.e. so confident of the idiotic naivety of the 'punters' - that he doesn't mind admitting it publicly.

What does 2 plus 2 equal?

Goodness, how MI6 etc. wind the 'people's left' around their little fingers! As in, setting it up, controlling its main concerns, running it.

It's obvious that Indymedia is totally dodgy. Times are not good; they're fucking BAD. A white middle-class lefty (e.g anarchist) may feel great, going on a summer camp, in some country where his or her vegan sausages cost more than a local worker's monthly wages. Want a parallel? Think of rich Americans coming to have a big arrogant buffet, complete with smoked salmon and fine wines, in an inner city council estate in, say, London or Newcastle or Glasgow. But that's got FUCK-ALL to do with class struggle and the fight against the capitalist ruling class in the present conditions, which are totalitarian and worsening, fast. Compulsory mass chipping is what, less than 10 years off?

You'll notice that there has been no anti-war movement in the west that has had any sizeable effect. Indeed, it looks as though the war will be extended to Iran - probably involving nuclear attacks - before the end of this year, and perhaps within a month or two. Meanwhile media space is given to those such as Michael 'Hollywood' Moore and Mark 'BBC and Channel 4' Thomas.

Some 'pseudo-oppositional' opinion formers will probably be 'retired' in the fullness of time...but so what? Perhaps a very few will have believed their role, and get considered to be awkward. (This won't include successful businessmen such as George 'who did he report to when he got back from Baghdad?' Galloway). Others will just go an enjoy the money they've been paid. Some may even continue to play a role as the composition of capitalist politico culture is ordered to change to the next stage by those who run it. Some by impersonating cats licking cream from actresses' hands, or whatever.

For those among them who get 'oppressed', even the terms of their 'oppression' (aww did someone take away the microphone?) will be organised so as to continue the mindfuck of the 'punters'.

One example being Simon Davies at the London School of Economics, director of 'Privacy International'. He's moaning about losing consultancy work. Aww, fucking diddums! And what do you think he's saying it's connected with? With his 'cost analysis' of how much ID cards will cost! As if that's an important issue! What a load of shit! We're talking about a 'critique' that's considered safe by the LSE. Get it? It's a long way from an understanding of the TECHNOFASCIST revolution that capitalism is currently undergoing. (Complex? No, not really). Where's the class hatred in such 'critiques'? Nowhere...

And yet...and yet...the so-called 'anti-capitalist' 'movement' - a middle-class politico scene exactly where the rulers want it - appears to be thriving.

Surely some mistake?

Anyway, is the apparent thriving of the middle-class 'people's left' because the rulers' hold over minds is cracking?

Or is it just part of a contemporary version of 'democratic politics', the lie of 'competing alternatives' sold to you by different pantomime characters on the stage, while the ruling elite cackle all the way to the bank?

You decide.

Think of the concepts of 'pseudo-opposition' and 'totalitarian' and apply them. Autonomous proletarian struggle and the practical improvement of working-class people's consciousness will NOT happen in friendship with any institutionalised form... They will not happen in friendship with middle-class lefty tourism. They will not happen in terms of 'politics' - and, before anyone denies it, yes the so-called 'anti-globalisation' movement is deeply representational.

Particularly watch out for, and reject, or at least stay a million miles from, anything to do with cliques who want to set up the long-term control of BUILDINGS It's always shit. It's always about keeping things under control. It's a fucking trap. I could name several examples, going back a number of decades.

And fuck the 'colour' revolutions - even when they're 'green'. 'Green' may be an old-fashioned colour compared to orange and purple, but it's still shit.

Anyway, for those who really need further evidence on Indymedia, consider that they crack down on articles saying 911 was an inside job.

Yeah, right, I know...
