The website http://www.greensforbuses.co.uk/ has been launched as part of the Sheffield Green Party's campaign for Quality Bus Contracts.
The campaign was launched on Saturday February 4 2006 with leafleting at bus stops in the city centre.
Quality Bus Contracts are a way to achieve a regulated bus service for Sheffield and the rest of South Yorkshire.

We are campaigning to get Sheffield City Council and the SYPTE implement Quality Bus Contracts now. These contracts can provide a legal framework for bringing a form of regulation of bus services.

However the issue of buses it very topical in Sheffield at the moment (not just for the Green Party). So the fact that another group of people have started campaigning seriously about buses is probably useful information for everyone campaigning on this issue and is best left.

Personally I am just as interested/uninterested in what the SNP has to say about buses, or Plaid Cymru or the BNP, they are no less odious and corrupt than the Greens and the trots you sneak under the wire.
And I really want some sort of explanation as to how certain political parties have been allowed to effectively hijacked Indymedia from the anarchists over the past four years.
How many IMCistas are members of political parties ? Apart from this Green twat ?
