An anarchists view of Indymedia

Too many cooks, not enough food

Many of my comments and posts deserve being hidden or deleted. I have no problem with that, I regard it as housekeeping, typical of every website. If you allowed us to delete our own posts than personally I often would. And there is no true freedom of speech on the internet. Infact, IM generally only partially hides comments much to it's credit. Its easy to check the open newswire ( http://publish.indymedia.org.uk/en/viewallposts.html )

However, lately, the quality of IM editors has dimished markedly. You cut every post critical of IM. You cut many posts simply for political reasons, denying us a chance to debate those posts. And more often than not you cut posts randomly, with no rhyme or reason. There are many examples on todays 'show all posts' page.

I don't mind that but as an anarchist I will hold you responsible for your misrepresentation of anarchy as fascism. And it is likely that I'll meet one of your folk before I meet one of our genocidal MPs. If you want to avoid physical retribution for your fascistic tendencies, then allow at least one comment critical of IM to stand so as to open the debate. It doesn't have to be this comment - but it does have to be this week. Empty threat ? You obviously haven't read my posts if you think that.
