Blair has found that he cannot turn his back on Brown properly during Prime Minister’s Question Time.

He has therefore ordered in the carpenters to cut a section off the end of the front bench.

This leaves him with the end position when he is answering questions and he will be able to turn his back on Brown as much as he wants.

He ordered brown into the chamber after it was closed for the night just to test it out.
