Demo against Iceland Dam - Wednesday 8th Feb

Europe's largest remaining natural wilderness in Iceland is under threat. Aluminium multinational Alcoa has convinced the Icelandic government to build a hydroelectric dam to provide the power to a smelter they are planning to build. The ecological damage this will cause will be immense.
Already activists have been involved in a vigourous international campaign against it, including a protest camp and various demos.
You can help stop this evironmental destruction. Please meet at Carfax Tower at 10am on Wednesday 8th Feb to take action against a company involved in this scheme. Please bring noisy stuff and bus money as we are going to a neighbouring town (not very far away). Be sharp as we will not be able to wait too long for people.
