SPEAKERS:

Eduardo Piñate, National President of the Unitarian Force of Teachers Union
(SINAFUM) and member of the National Coordination of the Venezuela UNT
(National Workers' Union).

Jacobo Torres, Coordinator of the Organising Group of the World Social Forum
(Caracas 2006) and International Coordinador of the Fuerza Bolivariana de
Trabajadores (Bolivarian Workers' Force) Venezuela.

Joni McDougall, GMB International Officer and member of the recent British
trade union delegation to Venezuela which witnessed the social reforms of
President Hugo Chavez’s government.

Julia Buxton, Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford. Julia has
written extensively on Venezuela and was three times an international
election observer there.
