PRO-ANIMAL RESEARCH PROTEST

A march on Saturday 25th February in support of the Oxford lab currently under construction.

We will be holding a march in central Oxford on Saturday the 25th of February in support of the Oxford lab currently under construction, and anyone is welcome to come along and voice their support. We will be meeting at 11:30am in Broad Street.

The plan is to spend some time voicing our support on the high street and engaging people in discourse on the issue and then we'll walk up to South Parks road itself, in front of the lab's building site. The whole event should last until about 4pm.

Please bring homemade placards, posters or banners with you if you can, as well as refreshments or money for refreshments, as we're unfortunately unable to provide any. Suggested slogans for your placards are "Animal research saves lives" or "Pro-Test supports the Oxford lab", although anything that supports our message is fine. If you do have one, please wear a white lab-coat in order to show solidarity with the scientific community. As for chants, we suggest:

"Humans over chimpanzees!
Animal tests cure disease!"
