bnp may be mobilising to attack LGBT history month

Campaigners fear that the British National Party is mobilising to attack LGBT History Month, scheduled to take place in February, after it warned parents to fight against the event and protest the “indoctrination of our children”.

February is LGBT history month. The BNP apparently are "rallying call for protest" against the occasion, and leafletting parents in somerset claiming that children are being indoctrinated and calling for "a return to the teaching of traditional and time proven Christian standards of morality in our schools!”

It appears that the move to raise awareness of and tackle homophobic bullying in schools isn't to their taste.

Anyone got any further information?

If I remember correctly, didn't the UAF and searchlight run a nasty homophobic campaign against a BNP candidate in London over a gay film or something likewise.

No it was not UAF. It was the BNP. Nasty leaflets. Threats. Usual sort of homophobic bullying.
