Today we reveal the shocking truth behind the IMC Monitoring Team. Yes, the IMC Monitoring Team is today washing it's own dirty laundry in public and admitting for the first time the awful truth behind the groups existence.

The IMC Monitoring Team is coming clean today after a hostile take-over has wrestled control of the group away from it's duplicitous founder. The ex-leader of the group proved to be a unaccountable rouge who repeatedly and deliberately attempted to mislead those around him. His disruptive actions ultimately turned all against him and resulted in the uprising in the group that has finally deposed him and liberated the team once and for all.
First of all we must admit that the term 'Team' has always been inaccurate since our leader, like most wankers, has always worked alone. We shall call him 'Sam' for the rest of the article, although he uses many names, both male and female. The IMC Monitoring Team doesn't really exist at all, it is merely another made up name used by Sam for a handful of posts on the indymedia newswire which claim to reveal the "extent of censorship, manipulation, editing of posts" by the IMC UK admin.
Sam's posts claims that the his imaginary IMC Monitoring Team keeps "copies on our website of removed posts and comments" but he fails to post a link as the website is entirely fictional. He likes to then post comment using a different alias and claim that indymedia have removed the link to the IMC Monitoring Team website, however anyone with half a brain can see through this pathetic attempt to discredit indymedia. A google search quickly proves that the so-called IMC Monitoring Team doesn't have a website and doesn't even exist at all beyond the realms of indymedia itself.
So what of Sam, what are his motives?
Well he may simply be a disgruntled twat with too much time on his hands and no life beyond those he creates for himself in the virtual world of open publishing. Perhaps he craves attention, perhaps he was neglected as a child and has never really grown up.
However, his motives may be darker than childish trolling. He regularly posts disinformation about protests, prisoner support and public meetings. He adopts the name of real organisations and posts cancelation messages for events or change of date or address. He has also tried to stir up infighting with false accusation between groups. Some suspect Sam to be a paid agent of the state while others just think he is a sad git with no friends.
Whatever the truth behind Sam's disruptive behavior, having expelled him from the group, we at the newly liberated IMC Monitoring Team now plan to take on the task of monitoring our deceitful ex-leader and will reveal more of his immature games in due course.
You will of course need to remain vigilant. Although we have killed him out of the IMC Monitoring Team, there is nothing to stop him from continuing to use our name for his posts. Likewise, at anytime, Sam or other malicious elements, may post false information in the name of existing campaign groups.
