'We've also received dozens of reports from local journalists and newspapers saying that they have been the victims of threats after they've written stories containing evidence against the US military and the Iraqi army." (Ibid)
Samim reports that the IJA has received more than 80 reports of threats against journalists from confirmed insurgents since the war began, and more than 100 from unknown sources. Threats appeared to target those writing about "government behaviour":
"We received 22 reports in January alone, and all of [the threatened journalists] had written about politics during the election period. They want us to be blind to the ongoing violence in the country; to write about agriculture or culture instead of about car bombings or the hundreds who have been displaced." ('Violence and threats hamper freedom of expression,' www.irinnews.org, January 25, 2006)
Samir Muhammad, a journalist working for a local newspaper in Baghdad says:
"Journalists are at continuous risk in Iraq, but if we stop reporting, no one will be responsible for showing the world the disasters here." (Ibid)

Blair has been murdering and torturing jounalists in Iraq since the very beginning of his invasion. Sorry, is someone here suprised?
Same as the fact that Blair has been holding women and children hostage in his rape factories. Sorry, has he EVEN tried to hide this from you?
Men in suits, sitting around smirking in BBC and ITN studios. Oxbridge boys laughing with oxbridge boys, daring you to object to their dalliances with the latest batch of 'rent boys' from Brazil (who certainly weren't over the age of consent when they were first 'used' in their native lands).
But, hey, what the hell. Black is white, up is down, right is wrong. What does it matter if Britain, America, France etc are run by a bunch of immoral, murderous, corrupt, psychopaths. I mean, it's not like this is going to end up badly for us, is it.
Just because Blair wants a World War, and genocide of the muslim and Chinese population, and the other politicians he needs to influence are all rotten to the last atom in their bodies is no cause to worry at all. I mean, what's the worst that can happen.
So, your flesh might be rotting from the consequences of Blair's weaponised small-pox, and your lungs may be filled with plutonium dust. You family and friends, and the cities they lived in may be all gone, but remember, somewhere safe deep underground those oxbridge boys are still smirking, and reminding those of you that can still hear that this is all for the good, and not to worry, because your Master is still alive.
NEVER THINK THE WORST, BECAUSE THE WORST NEVER HAPPENS. There was no such person as Hitler, Stalin or Mao. No-one dies from cancer, so no-one ever needs to spot the early symptoms in time. Relax, don't worry, let the oxbridge boys sing you gently to eternal sleep.
