Hamas wins Palestinian Elections

US and Israeli foreign policy obviously 'winning hearts and minds'

It's not very surprising, but when the USA came barging in and tried to impose democracy on the middle-east at gunpoint, the people have overwhelmingly voted for religious parties that hate the USA. The Shia and Sunni religious parties in Iraq ( the former connected to Iran, the latter deeply connected to the Iraqi resistance ), and Hamas in Palestine.

If it wasn't tragic it would be funny.

And if you look at some other elections in the world these days, we see Evo Morales in Bolivia winning the biggest majority in a modern Bolivian election standing on a blatantly anti-US imperialism platform. Can anybody sense a pattern?
