The first screening of a documentary film (produced by Shift Production to the Academy of Community Leadership)of what the delegation from Sheffield encountered.Kashmir Earthquake Relief Fund (sheffield) met and spoke with local people and heard eyewitness accounts of the traumatic suffering and bravery of the Kashmiris.
Kashmir a forgotten tragedy will be shown at the Sheffield Independent Film(sif) 5,Brown Street,SHEFFIELD,on Saturday 11th February at 7.00p.m.
Entrance will be £5.00 waged and 3.00 unwaged.
The proceeds will help towards building a girls college with residential provision for the poor and destitute.
Members of the delegation are currently assisting with some clean water projects and a no. of primary field schools in the most affected areas.
Please come along on 11th Feb 06 and show your support for this humanitarian cause and a second major catastaprohe.
