The East Anglia Social Forum to focus on the crisis in the NHS and alternatives to the market

The next East Anglian Social Forum will be in Cambridge on Saturday the 18th February. It starts at 12 noon at the Friends Meeting house, which is on Jesus Lane.

The provisional agenda is;

[12:00 - 12:15] quick welcme to all and tea etc.

[12:15 - 1:45] Forum; The crisis in the NHS
- speakers from around the region on the critical situation in the NHS in their area

[1:45 - 2:00] break (there will be tea, coffee and something to munch)
- if you want to bring food to share that might be nice :)

[2:00 - 3:10] Forum; Thinking global acting local
- a forum on resisting global capitalism from here in the Eastern Region!
- the forum will include a report back from the world social forum in January

[3:10 - 3:30] longer break

[3:30 - 4:00] what people are currently doing and exchange of ideas and methods, proposals, aob, etc.

There are some other suggestions out there for this event - if you have one that can fit into this scheme that's great, but if you're idea doesn't still let us know and maybe we can sort something.
