More than 600 demonstrators marched to the US embassy in London to demand the release of British residents (and others) from Guantanamo Bay. Due to repressive SOCPA legislation the speakers at the start of the protest were expressly forbidden to use load-hailers. This meant that people at the back of the crowd did not even realise that Venessa Redgrave, Bruce Kent, Mozaam Begg were even speaking - so much for freedom of speech.

Although the protest was small it was extremely powerful beyond words.

Full report and video to follow.

Yeah free all terrorists, you really are onto a winner there, NOT.

So if all those terrorists were not detained in Gauntanamo Bay they would be out there bombing us. Just like the July 7th bombers did and the September 11th hijackers did. The people in Guantanamo Bay prison are there for a very good reason, because there are hardened terrorists who have been arrested as part of the war on terrorism to smash international terrorism.
