Anti-Asbo Demonstration

Up to 200 youngsters set off from the Corn Exchange in Leeds at around 1:30 this afternoon and proceded to march up Briggate and then along Headrow ending up at the police station.
The police presence was fairly light, and they were clearly caught by surprise by it. After a time of chanting outside the police station we continued back to the Corn Exchange where speeches were given and more fliers handed out.

An anti-Asbo demonstration that doesn't attract Asbo-magnets!

Last night I walked a friend home. There was a gang of about 20 'youngsters' in her street riding up and down on mini-motorbikes, screaming, swearing and shouting. This is a regular nightly occurence. No doubt you bleeding hearts would love to have such things going on in your street, eh?
My only problem with Asbos is they aren't enforced strictly enough. Once an Asbo is broken it should be automatic imprisonment. No second chances.
