Palestine talk in Brighton

A PRESENTATION and talk on the work of voluntary organisations in the West Bank is being held in Brighton on Thursday January 19 2006.
The event starts at 7.30pm at the The Pelham Room, Brighthelm Centre, North Road.
One of the speakers will be a member of the Brighton and Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign who volunteered for the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) during the olive harvest in 2005 in Hebron and Nablus.
The other will be a Palestinian speaker who works with international voluntary organisations in the West Bank to document the effects of settlement expansion, the Apartheid Wall and other human rights abuses.
