Drums not Bombs in Brighton

On January 18th there will be a drum demo at Brighton arms dealers EDO MBM on Home Farm Rd. The demo lasts from 4-6. Bring percussive equipment.
This is the latest in a series of demos at the weapons factory which manufactures components used in the bombings in Iraq. EDO MBM, in collusion with Sussex Police, is applying for a High Court Injunction to severely curtail protest at the factory.
A march through Brighton town centre in December against the arms dealers attracted 300 protesters with almost as many police. Sussex Police subsequently received much criticism in local rag The Argus for their heavy-handed efforts. See www.smashedo.org.uk for more details.
