This is a genuine appeal for the release of the Christian Peace activists held in Iraq.

This appeal is addressed to the group holding the Christian Peace activists in Iraq.
I am the one which you refer to as the one who speaks the truth. My normal means of communication is not available. Please accept this message as genuine and sincere.
I believe that I have appealed to you previously regarding the French reporters. I asked you then to respect the reporters' purpose which was to inform their populations of the desperate situation in Iraq. I also said that you rightfully expect respect for your culture, traditions and religion.
Many peace activists are inspired by their Christian faith. We are satisfied that your detainees are legitimate peace activists and are not spies.
With the deepest respect, I request that you relase the Christian detainees.
