I think most people (maybe even humble badgers) aggree that round the clock news is what it is. But please spare a thought for the 70+ people who lost thier jobs this month, with little warning. The cut is of course for money (or freeview bandwidth), and is another example of wrong behaviour by 'companies' against 'poeple'. They were members of a union. A different view can be found on the Associated Press site, subheading broadcasting. I am not connected in any way with this wrong, and can't confirm the 6pm cutoff due to lack of signal, yet it probably sickens.
