Activists' briefing on the politics of the National Union of Students

Activists from Education Not for Sale, a network of radical student activists, have produced a dossier on the shenanigans of the National Union of Students bureaucracy at the 2005 NUS conference in April.
At the 2005 National Union of Students conference, held in Blackpool in April, bureaucrats of both right and "left" conspired to hamstring campaigns against poverty and debt and to prevent radical criticism of the growth of a religious right in the student movement.
The Education Not for Sale network has produced a dossier to expose these shenanigans so that activists can oppose the NUS leaders more effectively in future.

(if you don't believe me, take a look at the links page)
perhaps one of the authors would like to explain how they demonstrate their commitment to 'left unity' whilst attacking the swp and the student broad left? or is left unity in this case a euphamism for unconditional support of israel and rampant islamophobia?
