Who Is Indymedia UK Accountable To And Why Do They Deny Us Our Say?

Why have indymedia uk blocked people from posting on hidden articles?

Isn't this THE place to make connections and organise demonstrations (even if it is against the UK branch itself).

This is a message to those who run this site: For YEARS you have shown yourselves to be cowards and afraid of addressing the issue of censorship which you impose on this site. Grow some balls and defend your actions.

You can't read this cause the cowards are afraid you might start thinking for yourself.

Perhaps you didn't see the Editorial Guidelines? There is a link to these from the top of the page...

Concerns about editorial guidelines or queries about moderation are dealt with on the imc-uk-features list. These issues are not dealt with through the newswire, and newswire posts on these topics will be hidden.

The imc-uk-features list is open — anyone can read the archives and anyone can post to it you don't even need to be a member (though you might have your post held for moderator approval if you are not a member).

Policy issues such as the editorial guidelines things like the ability to post comments to hidden articles are sorted out on the imc-uk-process list and again this is an open list.

UK Indymedia is not unique — most IMCs do their organising and sort out policy issues on email lists and not via articles and attached comments...
