The Indymedia newsfeed could be useful for up to date info, distributed to mobile devices on the streets. whether podcast, Instant Messages, 3G phones, mobile email devices, etc.

They could also be easily republished on other websites with online RSS aggregators. The terms and conditions of 'OPEN' publishing would allow this but maybe some work might be copywrited.
