Not reporting things that should

anyone remember a story (rather big) few weeks ago about someone in some high politcal position, and media, not being allowed to mention possible talks between possible heads of state about possible attacks on possible media centres?
ring any bells?

I really do not know what happened in this case.
But it seems everyone has forgoten this occured?
Can someone enlighten me please?
