LIFE MATTERS

TIIAA | 07.12.2005 23:24 | Animal Liberation

We live in a world in which our governments hardly care about life.
Evidence of this are the recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq carried out by the U.S. and its economical, political, cultural and environmental occupations all around the world and its consequences. Some of this consequences are high levels of
pollution, human and animal deaths, environmental racism, etc.

No longer we can say we have a safe environment to offer to our
children. People stand up for themselves but there are some in this planet who, even though raising their voices, are not heard and we avoid seeing... We are talking about animal life, and specifically we are talking about marine mammals in an area of the world were people hardly set their eyes on... but we, the people, can do something about it.

ORCCAMM is the first South American institution that has reported a case of cancer in sea-lions, due to pollution. Every research is published and presented in international conferences, representing Peru.

ORCAMM has national and international volunteer programs that have been created to promote friendship and participation of people around the world interested in the conservation of marine mammals, joining efforts and sharing experiences with us at the South Pacific.

This work can't stop! And you can help it continue, it is in your hands to do something about it. You can get involved, become a volunteer or make donations and support the movement to work for the lives of marine mammals in the South Pacific.

To do so please contact ORCAMM at:  http://www.orccamm.org
 info@orccamm.org

Any help will be greatly appreciated in this cause for life in our
planet
