LIFE MATTERS

TIIAA | 07.12.2005 19:21 | Animal Liberation | Workers' Movements

We live in a world in which our governments hardly care about life.
Evidence of
this are the recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq carried out by the
U.S. and
its economical, political, cultural and environmental occupations all
around
the world and its consequences. Some of this consequences are high
levels of
pollution, human and animal deaths, environmental racism(?), etc.

No longer we can say we have a safe environment to offer to our
children. People
stand up for themselves but there are some in this planet who, even
though
raising their voices, are not heard and we avoid seeing... We are
talking about
animal life, and specifically we are talking about marine mammals in
an area of
the world were people hardly set their eyes on... but we, the people,
can do
something about it.
