Bristol climate change critical mass

mayler | 05.12.2005 16:20 | Social Struggles

A very rough cut of Bristols climate critical mass 3/12/05

We started at college Green, went down past the M32 and then around Broadmead.

It was a good day out and recieved a mainly postive response, leaflets were given out to motorists and passers by.

Are you a journalist or a campaigner? If it is the former the video appears to do the job, it shows a very sparse attendance and little else.

If you are a campaigner then the posotive vps add the desired effect but I suggest that showing the sparse turnout so well with the bridge shot is not a good choice, well not to me.

Showing the police at the start is just activist porn. Also assuming it IS a campaign video and knowing you I presume it is I would add some more backgorund to persuade the unconverted who may view it. Interviews with those on the demo would do this maybe. I think music adds stuff too, as in a soundtrack and lively cut. A bit short too.

Is this the same zaskar who informed (falsely as it turned out) on Bristol Indymedia to the police, and ended up getting the server nicked, and Bristol Indymedia shut down?

Don't think you're one to give advice mate.

Video was great btw.

missed the cycleride, late out of the library, doh. Know the guy who did the video though, he's not a professional just took the opportunity - but appears to have presented a realistic record of the event and the reaction to it, what's wrong with that?
