The end of Corporate phone sales?

Are you fed up with corporations using your personal details?. A personal account of a phone sales call from T-Mobile and how they were defeated.

I did receive an unsolicited telephone call to my home address by a T-Mobile operator. I haven’t supply them with my number or requested any information from them and thought of hanging, also thought of starting the lengthy process of asking them how did they get my home phone number details from, and ask for the removal of my data from his system to avoid further calls. But these guys are sellers, so their time costs money and are not prone to help you with any of these matters.

I thought of another way of getting rid of these phone calls once and for all. What could I do for them to give up on me and remove me from their database?, they are not trained to do that, but it could work if the roles are reversed. This is a transcript of the conversation.

T-Mobile representative> Hi, I am phoning from T_Mobile

Me> Hi, I would like to notify you that this call is costing you money

T-Mobile representative> Do you have a mobile phone?

Me> Could you please tell me where should I send the invoice? My time costs money.

T-Mobile representative>Do you mean this call is costing me money?

Me>Yes

T-Mobile representative>How much per minute

Me>£1 per minute

T-Mobile representative>Ok, but are you charging me for this call?

Me>Yes

Then the T-Mobile operator hanged up on me, and most probably removed my details from their database because they cannot afford to pay you for trying to sell you something you don’t want to buy.

Give it a try, tell your friends and family, and enjoy a phone sales free life.
