Video: US mercenaries randomly shooting Iraqi civilians

Telegraph: "A "trophy" video appearing to show security guards in Baghdad randomly shooting Iraqi civilians has sparked two investigations after it was posted on the internet, the Sunday Telegraph can reveal."

The video has sparked concern that private security companies, which are not subject to any form of regulation either in Britain or in Iraq, could be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of innocent Iraqis."

Aegis = Sandline = Executive Outcomes = Col. Tim Spicer

Thanks for bringing this up. Aegis is yet another incarnation of the seven-headed hydra Executive Outcomes. Col. Tim Spicer (Brit), in the tradition of all good dodgy salesmen, seems to invent a new name for his "Private Military Company" every year or so, in order to avoid being held to account. But the internet is a wonderful thing for sorting through this crap.

See here, for example:  http://www.serve.com/pfc/pmcbride/04olpfc.html

Aegis have an office in Central London, not far from a lot of media organisations. If their guys have been massacring civilians then we could probably get some kind of protest going outside their offices pretty quickly.
