Demo 3rd Dec to announce boycott?

There seems no news of this Demo on UKindymedia. Is it too contaminated by the SWP inadequates to be newsworthy?

Just heard BBC news on US refusal to cut CO2. What is the use of another Demo? Unless it kicks off a severe boycott of all US businesses:No flights to US, no purchase in any US owned shop, no purchase of US made goods.

Read up how effectively the Chinese boycott of Japanese goods was enforced in the 1930s. It is time to buger up Christmas and wreck the economy before the economy kills the Earth's ability to support Life.

climate demo ?

I have wondered about the lack of covereage on indymedia of the national demo against climate change that occurs on December the 3rd, and as to why it isn't in the upcoming events list. I know of at least several coaches going from Nottingham to it, none of whom are swp's to my knowledge.

The Demo is a political action, and has already been proven fuitile. If you want to stop Climate Change you have to make enormous changes in the way people live. It may already be too late to save the Earth's ability to support life by collapsing the Western economies. China and India may now have sufficient steam to generate their own growth internally.

If the world has not already gone too far, those two economies are quite able to complete our destruction. The Politicians are too stupid to see the reality, so we have to hope that whoever is making these new diseases can do it on a sufficient scale in time to save all Earth Life from mass extinction.

It may already be too late, but we must stop burning fossil fuels now. A Demo will not stop that.
