Remember the political prisoners in cuba

The pathetic attempts by some IMC editors to try and keep the horror of political prisoner abuse in Cuba out of the eyes of the UK public has reached crude proportions.

We announced the protest outside the Cuban embassy - This was hidden by the IMC Editors on the manufactured excuse that no website or email link was provided even though there is no requirement in any of the Editorial Guidlines to provide either.

We emailed the moderation lists as requested with information concerning the demo and details of those who organised it. This information never made to the lists but did end up with a First Secretary at the Cuban Embassy less than 30 minutes later (you are not the only ones with contacts in the Embassy)

We wrote a report about the protest thanking those who attended and announcing further actions - this was hidden and an individual IMC Editor without any information decided the action never took place (this will come as a surprise to the 43 people who were there !)
Details here:

The fight for Cuban political prisoners will go on, further actions and protests outside the Embassy will take place. We will never give up until all those being abused in Cuban jails are released. Those on IMC UK who seek to hide the truth about Cuba from the British people will have to answer to the people in the future.

You will note that despite supposedly laughing at the cameras of the Cuban security police who were supposedly mingling amongst the alleged 43 protesters, 'Raul' has failed to post any pictures - theres a good reason for this - there was no demo - there was no post to any list - just a string of hiffen posts pretending that there was a demo and pretending that Indymedia has some kind of allegiance to the state of Cuba.

Such a waste of energy.
