Iran accuses Bush over depleted uranium

The Iranian president has condemned George Bush over his use of depleted uranium in Iraq. The report claims that 120 tons have been used, but other estimates reckon that over 2,000 tonnes of depleted uranium munitions were used in Iraq, turning areas of Iraq into a radioactive dustbin, and causing increases in the rates of cancers, birth defects and other illnesses.
