People should be warned that the LARC centre is an anarchist gathering place. Anarchists are very anti-western and anti-Israel. They also incite serious riots under the pretext of anti-capitalist days of action, ie the Mayday 2000 riot and the J18 riot in the City of London. Anarchists also have strong links with the Animal Liberation Front which has caused millions of pounds worth of damage of the years and physically attacked and threatened to kill hundreds of people. Anarchist also have strong links with Irish nationalist paramilitaries such as the IRA and ILNA and has taken part in many Irish Republican marches and actions over the years.

'Realist' seems to think that anarchist and Irish republicans have some kind of political link? 'Realist' seems oblivious to the fact that anarchists as a rule reject all kinds of nationalism. 'Realist' is sadly unaware that if anything the politics of the IRA and INLA are marxist if anything. 'Realist' displays a political naivity that is quite frankly embarrassing.

Oh yes, then there the bit about how anarchists are the enemies of the west and Israel. This seems a little odd when you consider that most anarchists reject religion in all its forms especially the aggressive politics of Islamic fundamentalism. I think the Israel reference is a bit of a giveaway. I think that 'Realist' is yet another teenage zionist troll. He/she no doubt thinks that he/she is striking a blow for their beliefs when actually all he/she is doing is making a complete tit of him/herself. Discuss.

Larc is an activist centre. There have been times when some people who proclaim to call themselves "anarchists" have been at Larc (I don't spend all my waking hours there, so I can't give a definitive account). It is mostly frequented by activists who do not wish to maim innocent civilians in the streets, the opposite of what realist is suggesting.
Realist is being as sensationalist as the Sun newspaper. I am not speaking as an "anarchist" as Realist and most people interpret such a person to be (an often misused term by those who subvert it's definition to one distinct intepretation of anarchism - that being anarcho-nihilism, rather analogous to the corrupted version of Islam propogated by the CIA in Afghanistan and Pakistan through Al-Queda and the Taliban). There are no "anarchists" at Larc who have strong links with Irish nationalist paramilitaries.
The riots on J18 were partly given a malicious prod by the actions of some police (they predictably always are). There was real class war fertilizing, and it had to be stamped upon as it always does, but the cops were taken by surprise that day. The cops love a fight as much as some hardcore elements.
We all know the history of trumped up charges by the state in previous times, and it is true that fitups by the state occur in riot situations (a suspicious black block leading the crod into McD's in Genoa, then leaving through the back door for instance). In short, the provocation of "events" to justify more state control measures, such as the anti-terrorism measures that are being proposed, to criminalise sharing information.
Frankly, the reality is that they (the state) are preempting the inevitable class conflict that will ensue; they're keeping one step ahead, which is no surprise. (though there has also been hysteria over this over the years as well, where it was as much to do with shoddy police working practices as dark forces). That's what's going on.
So, yes, visiting larc is guilt by association, if you believe they will keep all the tapes of all the hidden cameras. Guilty as charged for cospiring to try and build a better world for your children and your children's children, an erath free from oppression, environmental disaster, and fascism.

Well do you remember the Angry Brigade? Probably not as most of the posters on here are fresh out of univeristy and therefore too young. But the angry birgade which for two years carried out a terrorist bombing campaign and tried to assasinate government ministers originated from within the anarchist movement and so did for that matter the Animal Liberation Front which caused millions of pounds worth of damage in the 1980s. The LARC centre is part of that radical movement. As such it is dangerous, while preaching radicalism and revolution it is corrupting the minds of the young. Turn decent yung people with good career prospects into radical fanatics ready to fight and carry out acts of terror for the "cause".

so the anarchists are dangerous and are guilty of corrupting young people by feeding them revolutionary messages and leading them away from good career prospects. strange then that realist seems to think the alternative is better, that is to say going to a school where you are taught nothing other than how to requrgitate the "right" facts in order to folllow a path through sub-standard education which then leads you onto sub-standard employment (insert good career prospects here if you are realist) so you can lead an orderly and compliant life where you never question the true nature of our destructive government (Iraq, arms sales, torture etc etc etc) or the possible alternatives. come to think of it anarchists must be pretty dangerous because they keep rocking the boat that is this shitpile country and someday we might all drown in the vast sea of mutual aid, co-operation and self-sufficiency
