Free Screening of the Documentary film Between the Dictator and Me at Brunel University on Friday 25th at 4 pm in room 063 (Lecture Centre). On the 30th anniversary of Franco's death, 6 young filmmakers look at his legacy and influence long after his dead generating a long-due social debate.

Last Sunday was 30 Franco's death anniversary. The Catalan Government and the Pompeu Fabra University supported a initiative by Memorial Democratic (whose mission is to preserve the historical memory) of producing a film to promote the dialogue around Franco's memory through a new point of view.

The result was a Film Called 'Between the Dictator and Me' and it was screened simultaneously in Spain and several European cities on Sunday and It will have its premiere in Britain on Friday 25th at 4pm at Brunel University Lecture Center Theatre room 063.

This FREE event organised by Brunel Socialist Student Society, consist on the screening of the film -in which 6 young filmmakers (all born after Franco's death) explore their relation with the Dictator and his legacy-, and a debate on the Spanish Civil War and the Figure of Franco.
