I wonder if an attack on the Queen by one of these groups will vindicate Blair's warning that MPs would regret nobbling the anti terror legislation. They are reported to be endorsing the opinions of "Zarqawi" that she's an "enemy of Islam". You could almost think they shared the government's strategic objectives..

Right on cue, the slanging matches begin. This is a shame, as there was so much potential in Indymedia. At one point, even the 'established left', people like the trade unions and papers like the Morning Star began reporting favourably on the site. But if I were a youngster now, interested in progressive / activist politics and checking out Indymedia, I would probably swtich it off in five minutes, disillusioned.

I was extremely wrong to even put people in a category like i did with british and greeks. It was a moment when i got really pissed off with the GOD SAVE the QUEEN guy and his attack on my culture vs his. And as usually happens when one gets pissed off they attack in an extreme length. Ive been in the UK for 4 years studying and iv met some of the best and worst people il ever meet.
