sara | 18.11.2005 00:02 | Migration
Reports on recent abuses at the Spanish/Morocco border, and also on the present situation of the migrants: some have been taken to army camps (where no NGO or UNHCR r allowed in), others were abandoned in the dessert (some in mined areas), some have died, many are ill and very weak.
This is a report by an Andalucian Human Rights organisation (called APDHA) and it looks at the series of events that ended on the shootings of migrants at Ceuta in September 2005 when at least 6 people were murdered by police at the border between Spain and Morocco.
It also details the terrible present situation of the migrants after the raids that followed the killings.
