Amman Radisson Owned by Palestinians

Kurt Nimmo | 16.11.2005 19:20 | Repression | Social Struggles

The Radisson SAS is a Scandinavian chain and owned by Palestinian-Jordanians.The Radisson SAS was bombed by Mossad because it was considered a Palestinian target—and because blame could be pinned on the mythical al-Zarqawi.

“Mary Nazzal-Batayneh, whose family owns the Radisson,” explains the Arab Media Watch blog, “sent out the following press release:”

“We are the owners of Radisson SAS Jordan. As the owners we want to send deep condolences to all the staff and guests. We are deeply shocked and obviously condemn such acts. We very briefly want to set the record straight on 2 points.

Firstly, news reports have been indicating that the Radisson SAS was specifically attacked because it is an American hotel and has hosted Israelis. I want to make it clear that the Radisson SAS is a Scandinavian chain and owned by Palestinian-Jordanians.

Furthermore, the Radisson SAS owners and staff represent the strongest supporters out of all the hotels in Jordan for the Palestinian and Iraqi people. We have expressed our support throughout the decades and will continue to do so.”

You’d think al-Zarqawi’s Tanzim Qa’idat Al-Jihad fi Bilad Al-Rafidayn (Al-Qaeda Organization of Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers) would bomb a Jordanian target, not one jointly owned by Palestinians and Jordanians (recall the Israelis consider Palestinians Jordanians and vice versa). If we are to believe the propaganda dispensed by the corporate media (based on an impalpable internet message) al-Zarqawi targeted the hotels because he considered them to be “centers for launching war on Islam and support the crusaders’ presence in Iraq and the Arab peninsula and the presence of the Jews on the land of Palestine… They also were a secure place for the filthy Israeli and Western tourists to spread corruption and adultery at the expense and suffering of Moslems.”

Instead of Jews and Western tourists, the bombs killed Jordanians and Palestinians—and also the Palestinian West Bank intelligence Chief Basheer Nafe’, his deputy Abid Allouni, the Commercial Attaché at the Palestinian embassy in Cairo Jihad Fattoh, the brother of Palestinian Legislative Council speaker Rawhi Fattoh, and Mus’ab Kharma, deputy chairman of Cairo-Amman Bank in the Palestinian territory and “students” from China’s University of National Defense meeting with the Palestinians when they were killed.

The Radisson SAS was bombed by Mossad because it was considered a Palestinian target—and because blame could be pinned on the mythical al-Zarqawi. Running black ops engineered to be blamed on Arabs is the basic Israeli intelligence modus operandi (as the bombing of American and British property in Cairo and Alexandria in 1954 by Israeli military intelligence—known as the Lavon Affair, the prototype of all Israeli covert terrorism to come—was initially blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood, itself an MI6-CIA penetrated organization). It is simply not credible to believe al-Zarqawi (even if he was alive) would target high-level Palestinians and their Chinese guests at a Jordanian-Palestinian owned hotel.

Only Israel stands to gain from the bombing of the Radisson SAS.

Don't be ridiculous!

How many times do we read such crap on Indymedia? Always blame Israel. All the world's ills are Israel's fault. Every terrorist act must have been committed by Israel/Mossad/Jews. Only Israel stands to gain. Bla bla bla. Don't you realise how ridiculous you sound?

It's obviously not enough for you that al-Qaeda took responsibility for this atrocity and for all the other atrocities being carried out daily in Iraq and around the world.

Israel stands to gain (if at all) because of idiots like Zarkawi and al-Qaeda who are so eager to promote their death cult that they don't care who gets killed in the process. The world was happy enough to look away while Israelis and/or Jews were getting blown to pieces. But you've all forgotten that the Jews are the canary in the coal mine. The terrorists reckoned they could get away with it and now the terrorism has come home to roost and is killing its proponents. Perhaps you'll all learn now.

Besides which, having an Israeli citizen killed in the bombings in Jordan is not exactly a gain for Israel either.

It's more complicated than that

Kurt, you forgot something. Palestine not being a "state" yet, a number of those self identified Palestinians at the wedding carry US passports and are what we here would call "Arab-Americans".

Now it is NOT that hard to imagine that from the point of view of the Iraqi resistance ........
a) These people aren't helping us (finacially)
b) These people aren't carrying out attacks in the US

I am of course not intending to convince you that this is a SENSIBLE way of lookign at things. But it's the sort of things you frequently see people do. If you don't believe that, just whatch this site >

When you have a well-deserved reputation, people WILL point the finger

Dear "ex-brit", you and your people will ALWAYS get the blame for operations like this, because:

1) the False Flag was carried out for Blair
2) you lot work for Blair, thinking you gain advantage from his anti-muslim plans
3) you lot have carried out thousands of similar operations in the past
4) this particular False Flag would obviously benefit from your expertise

Of course, none of the above makes it a given that the bombings were done with Israeli government approval. Indeed, on this occasion, there are many factors that point away from official Israeli involvement.

However, Iraq is riddled with Israeli terrorists, most with strong Israeli government connections. Many of these people will happily work freelance if the price is right, and the action matches their twisted ideology. Of course, Iraq is also riddled with terrorists from many other nations, that will also happily give their services to Blair for money and power.

The patsies that were set up for a fall in Jordan are the least important part of the equation. Blair's atrocities in Iraq have left tens of thousands of living victims that will do anything to strike back at those behind the invasion. Any network with the right skills could easily find a hand full of naive stooges, and get them into Jordan on the understanding that they would be allowed to strike the true enemies of Iraq.

Once again, the immediate masterminds have yet to be revealed. Statements by senior Israelis leave no doubt that they were aware of the nature of the threat (their statements were designed to impress their own population with the quality of their intelligence work, and dedication to protecting their own). At the very least, this tells us that bombings were executed by a high-visibility squad of operatives.

I am in no doubt that the bombings are an important part of Blair's future war plans. Alliances need to be forged, and alliances need to be broken, and such acts of violence are a common way to energise a situation to allow for either. The next war in the Middle East will be on a scale to make Iraq seem like a pub brawl. Understandably, the future participants will be somewhat reluctant to willingly give into that hellish fate. They (Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Syria, Israel, USA etc) will need a lot of persuading, and a lot of manipulation to act in a way that is so counter to their mid and long term interests.

Basically, "watch this space", for it may take some time for the true significance of events like these to be revealed.

"Iraq is riddled with Israeli terrorists, most with strong Israeli government connections"

Really? Gosh, that is a big story. Could you provide any actual evidence of that, just to make it even the slightest bit believable? And when I say evidence I mean solid proof, rather than a link to a blog where someone else

Or is it just as made-up as my "US to invade Israel" story, which was quickly deleted by the humourless powers that be?

After two decades of doling out this horror against Israelis, some of whom were also attending festive events (a Passover dinner, a Bar Mitzvah), Palestinians, who form a majority of the Jordanian population, unexpectedly found themselves at the receiving end.

And, guess what: They did not like it.

The brother of a woman injured in the attack told a reporter, "My sister, I love her. I love her to death, and if something happened to her, I'd be really..." Choked, he stopped speaking and cried. Another relative called the terrorists "vicious criminals." A third cried out, "Oh my God, oh my God. Is it possible that Arabs are killing Arabs, Muslims killing Muslims?"

.......I also hope that Palestinian Arabs, who have established a worldwide reputation not just for relying heavily on suicide murder but for doing so enthusiastically, will benefit from this unique learning opportunity.

No other press and school system indoctrinates children to become suicide murderers. No other people holds joyous wakes for dead suicide bombers. No other parents hope their children will blow themselves up. None other receives lavish endorsement and funding for terrorism from the authorities.
