Just to advise of the website for those campaigning against
Lydd Airport expansion on Romney Marsh, Kent. The consultation period for KCC/SEERA plans is now over and we await ,hopefully, removing forever the 2 million people figure from the Kent structure plan......
If the 2 mill figure is dropped from Structure Plans, it may well stop Lydd in its tracks.
They are currently going thru a new Scoping Doc to produce a new Env' Impact Statement and Road Traffic analysis prior, they hope to putting Planning Permission in to Shepway* District Council next year.

There is another campaign, The Lydd Airport Action Group which started before ours and we try to 'dovetail' with what they are doing.
