Activists from County Mayo will be talking about their struggle against Shell - Films, Q&A/discussion, followed by a social and bar.

Activists from County Mayo will be touring the UK during November to increase awareness of the struggle to prevent a giant Shell Consortium from building a dangerous, raw gas pipeline and huge refinery on unstable bog land, raising serious public health and safety issues and devastating remote conservation areas on the north west coast of Ireland. www.corribsos.com.

This event will be hosted by London Rising Tide and begins 7.30pm with an Introduction to the London Rising Tide campaign, then a talk about the struggle against Shell by the Mayo activists with films, Q&A/discussion, followed by a social and bar. The evening will also be remembering the 10th anniversary of executed anti-Shell activists Ken Saro-Wiwa and his 8 colleagues in Nigeria, 1995.
