The Chinese own enough Treasury Bonds (Elliot) to destroy the US economy on a whim.

Well, what about that?

The Chinese commies who work their own people as slave labour own the US economy and can destroy it anytime they want.

Yes, there is only one super power in the world today.

Its always worried me how the chinese admins have considered the usa as their number 1 enemy for the last 100 odd years.They have a saying about being really nice to your enemies until you have them totally under your spell...dont have the exact wording sorry.
This thing with the economy has been going on for a long while,Loans ,credit deals ,company buyouts...and yes by now they do have the power to bring down the usa.
I find it amazing that more people are not disgusted with the way our so called civilised governments cozy up to the inhuman chinese govt. These people encourage school children to watch folk being sentenced to death in stadiums,and torture the peace loving falun gong movement...George and Tony must really love stuff like that i guess-otherwise they wouldn`t do so much wheelin and dealin with em.

Let's accept your hypothesis that China can 'pull the plug'. What happens, and who gains?

1. The US defults on its payments. How does China get its money?

2. The US economy goes down the chute. Who does China now sell its goods to? China's ecomony goes down the chute, and in a dictatorship that's much more dangerous.

3. China pushes the US to war. Now, let's see - how many nuclear weapons in the American armoury? Ten thousand?
