Climate Change: Public Meeting at SOAS

SOAS Green Group and the Campaign Against Climate Change (CaCC) are co-hosting a public meeting at SOAS this Wednesday 16th at 5.30pm in the JCR of the Student's Union.
Speakers will include:
Mayer Hillman (Academic and Writer)
Jim Footner (Greenpeace Climate Campaigner)
Jason Torrance (Founder, Earth First! UK and now Campaigns Director, Transport 2000)
Phil Thornhill (Campaign Against Climate Change)
Followed by an eco-themed pub quiz in SOAS bar...Join us!
This event is in the build up to two national demonstrations:
1) TANGO ON TOWERBRIDGE: Aviation is the fastest growing cause of climate change. Tell the bosses of the aviation industry, "No to airport expansion"
Meet 6pm on Towerbridge on Tuesday November 29th. Dress Formal.
