MAYO ANTI SHELL ACTIVISTS: speaking tour & benefit party with Veggie Café, Irish Coffee, Bar and music.

Activists from County Mayo will be touring the UK during November to increase awareness of the struggle to prevent a giant Shell Consortium from building a dangerous, raw gas pipeline and huge refinery on unstable bog land, raising serious public health and safety issues and devastating remote conservation areas on the north west coast of Ireland.

Saturday Nov 12th @ Ramparts Social Centre - Solidarity Benefit Gig (all proceeds to the Irish campaign): Starts 7.30pm 'til 2am. The evening kicks off with a talk given by Mayo speakers, films, Q&A/discussion followed by benefit
party 'til late with veggie cafe, bar, live music & DJ's. Check for further details coming soon. The evening will also be remembering the 10th anniversary of executed anti-Shell activists Ken Saro-Wiwa and his 8 colleagues in Nigeria, 1995.

Put it in your diary and bring yer mates!

"If multinationals can behave in this way in Europe, what chance have the African people got?"
