Why an antiracist rugby tournment?
It’s because in Italy, above all to Rome, it’s given a wrong vision of the best sport in the world.
We think conflicting to attribute to this noble sport violent or even simply fascist tendencies, that have nothing to do with sport spirit, mailnly if team sport, particularly rugby sport!
False ideas have been created about rugby players, that impose
the vision of the exalted rugbista, necessarly over 100 kg, unable to speak out unless with grunts. It has carried to isolate this sport or, at least to marginalize it.
Loyalty and respect for the own team and the adversary, and silks not to destroy the "enemy" of the moment; dignity and competition, not honour and triumph;
Collectivity in the difficulty and not selfishness in glory; sociality and
not individuality.

This is rugby and it’s for this, that we mean to turn us to all the made curious persons who are fascinated some or for to participate to the first antiracist tournnament of rugby in Rome.

We want to remember that this isn’t a normal tournnament of Rugby
to 7. It’s not important who will win, but the important is to participate and to construct together one more and more wide antiracist net of players, against racism in Europe.
It is not necessary to be good to play, but to want itself to enjoy and
to meet people.
The tournament is open to male and female teams, it will last three days, sara' divided in gironi based on the number of the squares
enrolled, and durera' 3 days.


The cost of registration is 150 Euro per team.

16 April 2006 - Hours 10:00: Seed-ends of torneo + winners awards

17 April 2006 - Hours 10:00 For who mixed remains left of rugby to 15.

All the teams will be given 2 meals a day and free water.
