I am writing to complain strongly against your competition, the prize of which is to go out for a drink with Mike Tyson.

As you will know, Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist and when he attempted to come to this country several years ago there were national protests, in particular by women's groups.

Your description of him in the competition literature discusses his boxing success but makes no mention at all of the controversy in other aspects of his life, including the conviction of rape.

Promoting such a man is appalling and irresponsible, and I understand that in other parts of the country protests are also mounting. In Derby, for example, a Domestic Violence group called

Giving any publicity to such a man - never mind suggesting going for a drink with him as a prize for a competition - is a measure which will outrage and upset many people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. The Sheffield Star's part in this suggests a complete disregard for the women here and elsewhere who have survived rape, sexual violence and domestic violence, and those who haven't survived.

Sports men and women are more and more considered heroes and role models. Please don't let this man appear that way to any of the young people who will come across your paper. We need to stand up against bullies and rapists, not celebrate them.

Rich men who rape like Mike Tyson who get away with rape because most of the male establishment don't care about rape. This shows in the lenient legal system. They should be locked away for life. Give them lie detector tests.

Look, Tyson has done the crime and paid the time. Let is settle. If you are a boxing fan, it would be great to go for a drink with Iron Mike Tyson, and furthermore, Mike is fairly leftist. He is a convert to Islam, he has tattoos of Mao and Che, and cool facial tattoos. In his day, he was the best and he was my favourite boxer. Give him a break and get off you high horse.

"pippa hippie", can you please inform us of your efforts to boycott the ROMAN POLANSKI film "Oliver Twist", recently released to UK cinemas.

Roman Polanski, for those that don't know, is the director that fled the US to France many years ago to avoid punishment FOR DRUGGING AND ANALLY RAPING A CHILD. This offence, a sex attack of the worst possible kind against a 13-year old girl, is not in dispute.

It is interesting that the BBC is under strict guidelines (like those that control what can and cannot be said about Mandelson) to refer to the incident FALSELY as "statutory rape". That's right, the BBC is under instructions to protect the reputation of a pedophile-rapist. Why?

And Mike Tyson? Well his trial was a "beauty contest", ie., one person's word against another with no real evidence. In the States, vast numbers of PROVEN INNOCENT "big black men" have been sent to prison in such trials all across history. In Tyson's case, his accuser stood to make a fortune from her accusation. Still, as we know, ALL MEN ARE RAPISTS, AND EVEN WHEN THEIR ACCUSERS ARE PROVED TO BE LIARS, THEY ARE ***STILL*** VICTIMS.

Nobody claims Polanski's victim lied, including Polanski himself. His case is cut and tried, unlike Tyson. SOME MEN DO RAPE, AND ROMAN POLANSKI IS ONE OF THEM.

So-called feminists don't seem to have a problem with Polanski raping a child, getting away with it, and being feted afterwards. Steven Spielberg even worked with Polanski, advising him to make "The Pianist" so that the "holocaust" could be used as a mechanism to get Polanski back in the US without punishment (thankfully, despite winning the Oscar, there are many, including decent people within Polanski's own community, who will fight to their dying breath to get the bastard in prison where he belongs, so Spielberg and Polanski failed in their plan).

AND HERE LIES THE POINT. LOOK AT THE RELIGION OF TYSON AND POLANSKI, AND THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY TYSON IS ATTACKED ON INDYMEDIA AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHILE MONSTERS LIKE POLANSKI GET AWAY WITH THEIR CRIMES SCOTT FREE!!!

I am surprised you did not accompany your piece with a crude cartoon lifted from Der Sturmer, showing an evil, hook nosed jew slavering over a young Aryan girl. Kindly point out all these feminists who 'do not have a problem' with Polanski then. The fact is, Polanski fled justice - if he ever turned up in the US again he would be arrested for the crime. What is more disturbing here is your apparent need to link his crime with his jewshness. Or is this all part of some 'legitimate' anti zionist attack on the state of Israel?
