overview of leeds nov 2nd

Now then mate I was there and on the megaphone as usual I know, We had just over 350 supporters and I would say that "the great unwashed" had a good 300 but not the 600 reported and certainly not 1000!!.The BNP supporters were mostly wearing suits or at least jackets with shirts and ties, many wore their medals and regimental badges and Berry's. Of course there were hundreds of national flags and home made banners in support of Nick and Mark. Councillor Angie Clarke,Oldham organiser Anita Corbette and Yorkshire Regional Organiser Nick Cass sold hundreds of poppies to those gathered as well as to members of the public as they passed by.We sang Nationalist songs etc. and home made sandwiches and tea and coffee was passed around,it was great to part of a nationalist family united against this mugabe government and its oppressive anti-democratic laws.

Did that sound good?
Now to my knowledge only one egg and one flour bomb were thrown, from the UAF/commis who flew their fascist red flags and held their standard banners "smash the BNP" your favorite YEP reporter "a legend in his own mind" Lazenby was their, a man who "never" lets the truth get in the way of a good story, prehaps thats how the 600 figure was arrived at?. Anyway they all left when the rain started, yes thats right just melted away back to their bedsits and poppy induced lifestiles.

I was however bloody angry that the police allowed the great unwashed to have "stewards" outside their caged area to egg the crowd on with megaphones, were as we were kept behind the barriers, but It was very obvious were the police presence was required as TWO lines of police were needed to hold these BO stinking students and union members back as they tried to push through the barrier.
