Nottingham's One World Week

7 days of cultural celebration and global awareness

On 20th November Nottingham Students Union will launch One World Week. As part of this worldwide event Nottingham Students Union are hosting a week long festival of culture, showcasing the arts and the issues of the hundreds of nationalities under the umbrella of the union. Expect film, performance, art, forums, speakers, debate, direct action, workshops, music and dance. With students from over 140 different countries living and studying side by side, this is a global community. This week is an expression of co-operation and intergration, between cultures, faith groups, political mindsets and the local community, which will aims to continue far beyond the 7 days.
