Manchester McD-Day update
Ronald | 15.10.2005 12:25 | Health
On Friday evening, a critical mass of about 20-25 cyclists stopped at 2 McDonald's outlets for a little street dance to a mobile sound system. When they eventually drew the attention of the police to them, the cylists ended their tour with a dinner of delicious vegan burgers.
On Saturday lunch time, at least 3 (possibly more) McDonald's outlets in the city centre were stink-bombed. But McDonald's customers seemed to be surprisingly immune to the stench.

Dear Mr 'Voice of Reason'

Given the abominably ignorant, naive and babyish nature of your posts, I imagine your real voice as sounding a bit like Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander.
Am I correct?
got your number

Why havent Bush and Blair been prosecuted for any crime. Why havent Coca Cola (pay off contract killers to kill trade union members in columbia) been prosecuted, why havent shell, esso, microsoft, (this could go on for a while) been prosecuted?
Wake up and smell the injustice coz this is the real world.

Not very critical

Is the word 'critical' used in your article in the medical sense, meaning extremely poorly and near to complete extinction? 25 seems a low number. Where were the rest of the revolutionary anti-big business protectors of the public, in the pub drinking Carlsberg or sat at home their Sony playsations?
Just think, some of these 'critical mass' comrades were brought back to Manchester a couple of weeks ago in mummy's car, loaded with all the big-business products which today's youth finds indispensible.

unfortunatley despite how much fun it is, there are usually fewer than 25 (often cos of the shite weather- loads of people came to the anti g8 one in summer)..and 25 was a pretty good turnout..but we are getting bigger and we've been doing all sort of bike related things..from new york critical massers comin over showin us a film to pirate bike treasure hunts to bike races to bike mechanics workshops..
the mcdonalds day critical mass was really fun and good to see new faces..hopefully some of those students that were dropped off in cars will get on their bikes and come and hopefully you will too mr 'not very critical'..
...so don't just leave it for special occasions..come every last friday 6pm at central library...
