Five seconds of thought allows one to conclude that the bodies of executed prisoners should NEVER be used by the state, or businesses, under ANY circumstances, including with the permission of the executed person, or their family.

Why??? Because if the bodies of executed prisoners are valuable, it is impossible to prevent executions being carried out for profit. The death penalty (for civilian crimes) is bad enough. However, when the death penalty becomes part of the capitalistic or corrupt profit system of modern society, the motivation for killing, and killing in quantity, will NEVER be justice or crime prevention.

The most severe penalties should be applied to any UK companies using or co-operating in this practise, including life imprisonment for the directors of said companies.

Few issues in life are as black and white as this one. We see in the USA (especially with that ex-bodybuilding scumbag) what happens when people are executed for political profit.

It is interesting the Europe decided a significant time age that school corporal punishment, judicial corporal punishment, and capital punishment for civilian crimes were inappropriate in civilised society. The USA takes the opposite point of view on these three issues, and yet we allow them the idea that THEY have moral leadership. This is like having a black sheep in the family, and then allowing that person to set the moral agenda for the rest of the family.

China needs strong moral leadership in the world. If the USA were not a moral sewer, China would be far closer to improving its human rights record.

The drug companies are major profit engines, while producing almost nothing of benefit for mankind. 99.99% of all significant medical breakthroughs involved innoculation, anti-biotics, and helping females survive child birth. Modern drugs make near zero significant difference to mass human health, and proper application of long since established medical science to the WHOLE planet would save more humans than 10,000 years more work by modern drug companies. For those of you that want to stupidly point to things like a 'cure' for AIDS, well that would be fine, if it were not for the fact that modern drug company methods caused the problem in the first place. AIDS occured in humans when an African oral polio vaccine was illegally manufactured from a species of monkey, moving a monkey virus into humans. Trans-species methods like these are persued for their usefulness in biological warfare, in just the same way that the so-called 'space race' disguised the design and manufacture of ICBM's.

In simple terms, MODERN drug companies have killed far more people than they have cured. To the politicians, this does not matter so long as the profit and share value of such companies DIRECTLY profit the elite. These drug companies target fear and vanity in normal humans. What is so hilarious about their methods is the fact that for male humans living in the past that escaped the consequences of high infant mortality, violence and diseases that we have long since conquered, their life span was little different from now.

Understand that modern organised application of medical knowledge could continue without ANY new drugs. A few would die that might be saved, but far more would be saved that would otherwise die by correct application of resources. Today, the drug companies as policy encourage the abuse of medicine, rendering future use of current anti-biotics useless, and forcing us to rely on new medicines that otherwise would not be needed. THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT PROFIT IN OLD MEDICINES, REGARDLESS OF THEIR EFFECTIVENESS.

It gets worse. When a drug is invented that would help a group of people, the beneficiaries of the companies share value ensure that laws are passed restricted the use of the drug across the planet (via patent, and IP laws forced on third world nations by bribing or threatening their leaders). The biggest lie is that drugs are, by their nature, expensive to design. The scientists that do the work are paid almost nothing- but research because they love science. By eliminating the obscene profit mechanism, and paying the IMPORTANT people more, the cost of new drugs would plummet, and the number of scientists entering the field would explode. Scientists don't care who they work for, so long as they are given the resources they need to do the work.

Life in balance- it really could be that way. Who is it that has an incentive to inhibit the natural scientific curiosity and creativity of a notable chunk of our race. A FOR PROFIT modern drug company will NEVER do good or useful science, but will spend a vast amout of money TELLING you otherwise. You will hear how they SLOW AIDS in their very rich patients, but will never hear how they caused the problem of AIDS in the first place, with their lousy and irresponsible methods.

So-called genetic engineering in the food chain follows exactly the same pattern.

thank you for a lucid cogent comment. As I understand it this is not the first time that China has been mentioned in connection with the harvesting of body parts from executed prisoners.
They (Chinese authorities) have shooting in the head as a preferred method of killing when body organs are to be sold, and I dare say if they begin to need frontal lobes or eyes then the guillotine might come in useful. As you point out, USAns can be thought of as doubly barbaric since they have been exposed to European thought on such matters as state execution(murder) for some time now.
