Benefit - Edward Leigh's interviews on TV lunchtime 11 October 2005

You made extremely m misleading and untruthful assertions for which there are no factual bases

We intend to challenge you in court and we shall seek to have your reliability tested to the full.

You have no right to have made false statement at the expense of the people that have been systematically denied their benefits as part of ‘policy’ rather than in accordance with law.

Your appearances on the tv news items added to the campaign of harassment that has been going on against people who are pushed into poverty despite their preferences otherwise.

Neither your report[ nor your statements to the media can be justified on the facts as being experienced on the ground by the overwhelming majority of people whose legal benefits are being stopped for years on end without any recourse.
