The US admin are "very interested" in reports that cars stolen in the USA are being taken to Iraq and used in car bombs...

Reported October 4th in the Sydney morning herald,is a story detailing how a number of vehicles have been stolen from the united states and exported to Iraq, for the purpose of car bombings.
Boy,do those insurgents know how to keep the overheads down....
The vehicles, stolen from LA,Houston,Seattle, and other cities were shipped to Iraq by crimminal gangs and terrorists, because they "blend in better, and were harder to indentify as stolen",according to investigators.
You`ve got to wonder why the insurgents would go to all this trouble when they could just pop over to Syria or Iran for their cars.

The Boston Globe are also reporting the same story, saying that "the FBIs counterterrorism unit has launched a broad investigation" and "its getting a tremendous amount of attention in the US government."

Can things get any more bizzare than this ?
