Mark's a former research fellow of the Royal Institute of International Relations (Chatham House) and a former director of the World Development Movement. His most recent book attempts to construct the real goals of foreign policy from declassified Foreign Office documents, and how deception of the public is an integral part of it. He has also been highly critical of the role of BINGOs (big non-governmental organisations) in a recent article for the New Internationalist.
